Archivists of Central Texas (ACT) exists to increase contact and communication between archivists and those working with records, and to promote archival repositories and activities in the greater Austin area.

ACT is a non-profit organization registered with the Texas Secretary of State. You can join us by siging up on our Get involved! page. There is no requirement for membership and we do not currently collect dues; just show up to our events. You can also keep up with us on Facebook and Instagram.

Every other year, ACT arranges the Austin Archives Bazaar, an opportunity for the local community to come together in a fun and interactive environment to learn about the amazing resources available in the Austin & Central Texas area. Join us at the next Austin Archives Bazaar on April 26, 2026 at Saengurrunde Hall and experience why the Austin Chronicle named it Austin’s Best Biennial Bazaar in its 2019 Best of Austin list!
